The Grotto Project

The Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes near our Head Quarters was built around the year 2000 as a commemoration of the Apparitions of Our Lady in Lourdes to St. Bernadette. As years passed by, the Grotto was left behind or just like of no importance (its due to the fact that some of the Residents here are not Catholics.) Today, some of the residents (including us) maintains the Grotto. But I think, this places must be given an importance most especially by Most Catholics. So what we decided is to renovate the Grotto so that it can be respected by anyone who passed by on it.

The Main goals of this Project.
1. To re-paint the Image of Our Lady of Lourdes
2. To re-paint the Grotto.
3. To maintain the neatness of the Grotto and make it presentable to the Pilgrims.

Ways to Help

We really need funds to start the renovation of the Grotto. One way of helping us is to light a vigil candle for your intentions or for your loved one here at the Grotto near our Head Quarters for 2-3 days. Lighting a vigil candle is a revered custom at Shrines or even at Grottos. Here at the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes near our Head Quarters, you can lit vigil candles. Each burning flame represents the faith of the supplicant and their fervent prayer entrusted to the Blessed Virgin Mary's loving intercession. We consider it an honor to light a vigil candle for you and pray for your personal intentions (which are kept in confidence).

The Vigil Candles cost for a donation of $4.00. Half of the price will be donated to renovate the Grotto. You may request a candle to be lit for your intentions here at the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes near our Headquarters, just like the Grotto in Lourdes where the Blessed Virgin appeared to St Bernadette and spoke the words, "I am the Immaculate Conception." We will post pictures and updates about the project here in our blog site.
